We’re a seller, not a review site. PunchPowerUp sells one machine: the Smart Music Boxing Machine, model Se-03. It’s manufactured by Hold Body and sold, shipped and supported by us. We haven’t tested other brands, we don’t publish star ratings, and we won’t name competing products here.
What we can do is tell you what separates a useful review from a vague one, then answer the same questions about our own machine in the open. If a review can’t answer these seven points, it probably can’t tell you whether a machine fits your wall, your budget or your building either.
The checklist: 7 things worth checking before you trust a review
1. Mains power or battery
Music boxing machines come in plug-in and battery-powered versions, and reviews don’t always make clear which one they tested. It matters for where the machine can go and what you’ll be managing day to day. A mains-powered unit needs a socket within reach of the wall; a battery unit needs charging.
The Se-03 runs on mains power: AC 100-240V, 50/60Hz, auto-switching, rated at 15W, with the power cable in the box. There’s no battery.
2. How many striking targets
Target count changes how a session feels, and it’s one of the first spec lines worth matching between a review and the listing you’re actually looking at. A review of one layout doesn’t tell you much about another.

3. Built-in speaker, or “works with your phone”
“Music-reactive” can mean the machine plays the music itself, or that it relies on a phone or separate speaker. That changes both the setup and how much you’re adding to the wall.

4. Is the app actually available in your language
A review written in English doesn’t prove the app works in English. This is a real issue, not a hypothetical one: an early batch of our machines shipped with an app registration screen that was only available in Chinese, and several European buyers got stuck at that step before English onboarding was added.
Today the machine works with the Room Boxing app on iOS and Android, and the app switches its display language automatically to match yours. You can check the app’s language for yourself before you order.
5. Warranty length, and who pays if something breaks
A warranty length on its own says little. What matters is what happens when something actually goes wrong: is the unit repaired or replaced, and who pays to send the faulty one back?
We give a 12-month warranty from the date of delivery. If a defect is confirmed, we replace the unit; return shipping for the defective unit is paid by the buyer. That warranty sits alongside, not instead of, the statutory rights EU consumers already have.
6. How it mounts, and what “installation” really means
Wall-mounted machines differ in what ships in the box and who’s expected to fit them. A review that skips mounting usually means the reviewer never had to think about a real wall.

7. Where the seller is, and what the price actually includes
The same machine can land at very different totals depending on where it ships from and whether import charges are already included. A review that quotes a price without saying who collects VAT and duty is only telling you part of the story.
We ship from China. For EU orders, the $249 price is DDP: shipping, import duty and customs clearance are included, with nothing further to pay on delivery. Four targets vs six: what we can tell you, and what we can’t
Some listings and reviews compare four-target and six-target machines. We sell only the six-target Se-03, and we have no tested information about four-target models, so we’re not in a position to say one layout is better.
What’s worth doing is checking that a review’s target count matches the listing you’re considering, and asking what the reviewer actually used it for. UK and EU buyers: why “landed price” is its own question
For buyers in the EU, the useful question is whether the listed price already includes import VAT, duty and clearance, or whether you’ll be asked to pay those on delivery. Our $249 is DDP for EU orders, so it’s the former.
The UK sits outside the EU customs area, and its own rules on VAT and duty for goods sent from abroad apply. The UK government sets them out in its guidance on goods sent from abroad. If you’re comparing UK listings, treat “price” and “price at your door” as two different numbers until a seller tells you otherwise.
What we’re not pretending to be
We won’t tell you which music boxing machine is best, because we haven’t tested the others and we’d be the wrong people to judge. If you want a neutral comparison, look for reviewers who say which model and version they tested, how long they used it, whether it was mains or battery, and whether they bought it themselves.
